Friday Randoms

A small patch of Daffodils have sprung up in our yard.  I am hoping to find more on a farm hike this weekend.

One of the chickens left me a prize egg.....with a double yolk.  Sweet!

Here you can find more info on Chip and Joanna Gaines.  I had no idea that their business was so expansive.

Since April 1st is almost upon us, maybe one of these pranks is for you.

Scored a ticket to see The Eagles this summer.  I'll leave you with one of my favorites.

Linking up with Nancy and Tanya today!

  1. Beautiful daffodils! I was shocked (though I really shouldn't be ;) to see a dusting of snow early this morning as I got up! But I have seen a peak of daffodil shoots starting to come through.

Finding a double yolk egg is fun! Things are starting to green up here, but no blooms or buds yet. I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a nice trip to the farm.

  8. I try to catch Chip and Joanna's show- it is one of the better flip shows on tv. Love your jonquils..Mark dug up the stump out back that had all the Spider Lilies around it. Now I have no idea where they are..probably buried two feet deep. :(

  9. I enjoy watching Chip and Joanna . . . they make home remodel and decorating seem easy and creative. Plus they give me a ton of ideas.
I am ready for some flower popups in our yard . . . just as soon as the snow melts.
I posted a lilac picture today for some springy inspiration. Not far from us there is a Lilac Hedgerow . . . I hope to get some pictures of it this year! Enjoy the Eagles this summer!

  21. Very pretty daffodils. How fun to get the double yolked egg. Even more awesome to score those Eagle Tickets. I'd love to go again to see them but $ aren't readily available for luxuries like that so I'll just listen to my albums and recall my memories of attending past concerts.
I'll check out the pranks, that's always a fun thing to do.

  30. No flowers in bloom here in Nashua, NH, that I could see, but then there is still snow covering a lot of the ground. However, we had all day rains on Thursday which helped wash away more of the white stuff. The daffodils look lovely.
