Scenes of the Green


It is really greening up here at the farmette.  


 Secret Agent Farmer Man was so motivated that he even tilled part of the garden....even after mowing the yard.  

Yes, he already mowed the yard.

  8. Count your blessings. I think this will be the first year in more than 30 years we won't be able to garden. One of the terrible parts of aging. I don't think my husband will have the strength to till our vegetable garden. We'll just have to enjoy the produce from the store.

  21. I remember when I used to live out of the city and had a place with a small garden. I always enjoyed those ads from the rototiller manufacturers that made gardening look so great. I do miss getting the garden started with the tiller. Not so much was said in those ads about the work to follow. :-)

  25. No garden planting for us, but lawn cutting will be in our future within a month or so at our VA home.
