Thankful Thursday

Thankful that this is taking up my time at the moment.  The girl of the house made her debut playing Varsity High School Softball this week.  For the next several weeks my nights will be this scene, through the fence.

Last night, at the game, the temperature was in the upper 40's.  Could have fooled me!  One parent was sitting inside a zipped-up sleeping bag.  She had the right idea.

Linking up with Teresa today!

  3. Watching springtime sports for my children and now my grandchildren habeen a study in endurance.
Out come the gloves, hats, hoodies, ear muffs, heavy coats, rain gear, the works . . .
Zippered sleeping bag might not be such a bad idea!
I hope your daughter enjoys a great season on the varsity team . . .

  6. Now that's a smart woman! I remember sitting on the bleachers and watching softball or baseball, or football. I think cold was better than hot because I could at least wrap up! Don't blink- they grow up so fast!

  9. Great shot, Michelle! I really like it with the focus on the fence and the rest is blurry, but you still know what's going on. Bring a sleping bag the next time - that's a brilliant idea. (it might make taking photos a bit difficult though)

  21. Brr! Taylor was a basketball player and games were inside, of course. But one year he ran spring track. I froze half the season..the weather would look warm and I wouldn't dress appropriately. It can really fool you. The sleeping bag is actually a great idea! lol...

  28. I like the idea of a sleeping bag--that would cushion the bleachers a bit, too! I don't know how we used to sit on those things for a whole game.
