Lucky

Last night we had a terrible weather forecast looming into the future.

Strong winds, large hail, and tornado activity were on the horizon for this small town.

Though we did get some storm activity, the worst of it failed to make an appearance.

It did give some great light for taking photographs.

I found these two small herds having a meeting of the minds over the fence.  Perhaps they were discussing the impending weather.

  3. I too live in a tornado area and I am so sick of rain. It has been the rainiest here in years. I only like it during droughts.

  5. We had that nasty forecast, too, but only got more rain. Today's a gorgeous day and the trees are just alive with little birds singing away.

  6. The semi-storm really gave you some interesting light and cloud formations. Must have been quite the sight in person.

  18. As always, the photos are stunning. The weather has been a bit intense and unpredictable this last week. We got a couple of pretty intense storms here in north Florida-no doubt the same weather system you were anticipating.

    Happy spring.

I'm glad the stormy weather has moved on for a bit. Saturday night we had the worst of it with the heavy downpours. Here we are suppose to see a bit of sunshine for the next week I thinkit is now.

  28. What a beautiful sky, Michelle!

I hope the storm was not that fiercely like forcasted. Take a deep breath and get to it! The sunshine is already waiting behind the next (?) / last (!) cloud!

  29. I'm happy to hear that you did not get the expected bad weather! We've had two very hard rainy days --so unlike Colorado to get so much moisture. The water was actually coming up through our basement floor!
