Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday to be blessed with good neighbors.  Though we may not be able to peek out the window and see all of them, they are there, if need be.  Not only do we have some fine human neighbors, but we have many from the animal kingdom as well.  This little fellow is one of my favorites.  I think it might be those sweet eyes all trimmed in black. Lately, he has been giving me the, "once over", when I am out for a walk.

"We make our friends; we make our enemies; but God makes our next door neighbors."

Gilbert K. Chesterton
