Friday Randoms

This week has been a whirlwind of activity.  This picture illustrates three wonderful young ladies dressed as famous leaders in history.  A dinner celebration culminated their leadership program for the school year.  From the left:  Mother Teresa, Dorothy Hodgkin, and Cleopatra.  I'll claim Cleo as my own.  I would take the other two as well :)

Swimming with jellyfish?  Apparently it is possible in Jellyfish Lake, in the western pacific.

Rebel Wilson truly makes me laugh.  Maybe that is why the girl and I will be watching Pitch Perfect 2 this weekend.  You can catch a clip of her right here.

Paula Deen's waterfront home in Savannah is for sale.  I have to admit that I don't care much for the kitchen design, but the walk in pantry makes up for it.

I heard it was Stevie Wonder's birthday this week.  Let's get downnnnnn......

Linking up with Tanya today!

  3. Lovely girls! As for Paula Dean's house, I liked her other kitchen better. The rest of the house is just too, too much for me. Except like you say the walk in pantry....I did love it.

  6. What a nice photo of the 3 young ladies. Sounds like an interesting thing they are participating in.
I was happy to hear the Jelly Fish don't sting. I wouldn't mind swimming with them then.
Funny clip with Rebel Wilson although I'm not a fan of the movie you mentioned.
Don't like the kitchen decor in Paula's house but the rest of the place sure looked grand.
Sorry not a Stevie Wonder fan.

  9. Pretty young ladies and interesting choices of some influential women in history. I checked out the link to Paula's place and it is definitely so not my style. While I get frustrated with downsizing as we have been doing, I would definitely not want any place even vaguely similar. Enjoy your weekend and yah to Stevie!

  10. How fun...those three women chose perfectly.
As for Stevie Wonder...my first thought was "I just called to say I love you".

...and I mean it from the bottom of my heart!!!!

  13. Neat picture of the three girls in costume! Did they choose who they would be? The jellyfish video was pretty cool! And Paula Deen's house--oh my! I actually loved the kitchen, though I'd have to paint it blue! :-) I wonder if the pantry and frig are stocked with "Booter and Saalt!"

  15. Odd to say but Paula's house as a whole does nothing for me. There are bits and pieces that are wonderful but as a whole? Nah. And that kitchen doesn't fit the style of the rest of the house at all.

  20. Pretty shot of your daughter and the other two young ladies. I was glad to hear the stingers were gone from the jellyfish, it would be creepy to swim with them. Have a happy weekend!
