Rainy Sunday

Taken during sunnier times......

Yet another rainy day here in Smalltownland.

Heavy rain, high winds, and generally stormy weather seem to be our norm these days. Not even a speck of sunshine.  I enjoyed a brief respite from this pattern while visiting my parents on the Gulf Coast, but here things remain the same.

Need I even say that the garden is a complete jungle?  An umbrella and muck boots are needed to even go take a peek at the pickins'.

I will be catching up with everyone today.

Expecting to find all of you dry and sunny.

Linking up with Tom today.

  9. Crazy weather all around. We will have hot, sunshine and then it will thunder and rain with no warning. The gardens here are either dried up due to heat or the mud is knee deep.

  15. We have had more rain out in our part of the country than I can EVER remember. Just crazy. I love it but we've been trying to get concrete poured and a little building built and the rain has slowed everything down quite a bit...not complaining, tho...Once it stops raining here, we might not get more for a long long time.
Put on those cute garden boots and go pick something great out of your garden...then tell us about it and how you cooked it. :)

  25. We had a dry day yesterday, sun this morn, then a pourdown. It passed quickly, but boy it was a lot of rain anyway. The heat is back here, with all its humidity.

In this weather that little stand of trees out in front of the barn looks so appealing!
