Friday Randoms

Another typical scene for my area this time of year.  Rolls of hay to the left and tobacco to the right.

How can Kermit and Miss Piggy be on the outs?  It goes against all that is right in our world.  You can read about it here, but I am going to pretend it isn't happening.....

Can you eat your way to better health?  Yep, I think so.  Here are a few tips.

If you need a good laugh this weekend, I suggest you check out Gabriel Iglesias.   I've linked you up with just a sample.

I will leave you with a little Def Leppard for the weekend ahead.  They were in Louisville last night and I didn't even have a ticket.....

Linking up with Tanya today!

  3. I'd never heard of Gabriel Iglesias . . THANKS!!! I bookmarked his YouTube page - for starters. - My doctor and i agree about food and healing - wouldn't it be terrific if there were always beautiful photos like that - maybe then food could become our super stars . .

I started a closed fb group for rural bloggers to talk about homesteading and gardening and blogging or whatever. If you are interested shoot me an email.

  11. I like your "typical" scene. I thought that was corn at first but instead it's tobacco.
I know that is just horrible about Kermit & Miss Piggy. Kind of like when Barbie & Ken broke up. I hear they are back together now though.

  13. I just have to say I have listened to Hysteria hundreds of times....oh, and we passed someones place that we have passed several times and I did not notice till the other day that had a tobacco plant growing. It is grown in southern Indiana, but I never see anyone grow it near here. Though I knew it would...I keep wishing I had a plant to two just to see it grow.
