Friday Randoms

Just some Thistles in the field......

This weatherman deserves a medal for his flawless pronunciation of a Welsh town.

My daughter sent me this link in a text this morning.  It made my day and I hope it gives you a good laugh.   Proud that she is using her school time so wisely.

Are you a Waffle House fanatic?  Me, not so much.  Although here are a few facts about them you might find interesting.

How about a little Ray Charles to get your weekend started?

Linking up with Tanya today!

  2. Good morning, lovely image. I enjoyed your Friday Randoms. Waffle House uses a lot of eggs, they might need their own chicken farm. Happy Friday, have a great weekend!

  8. Wow...that weatherman is GOOD! :-) Beautiful photo of the thistles. I just wanted to make you aware of something....because you always have several links, my computer slows down when I start to look at your Five posts each week, and I tend to only open one (maybe two) links because of it. I wasn't sure if you were aware.

  10. I cannot hear that song without thinking of the Cosby show...I have found that with some chain restaurants some were not as good as others. Waffle house really falls into that category. We have not had one near us for years, but there used to be a 'good' one in Terre Haute. I don't really like to stop at them when I travel because of some being good and some I can hardly stand. (I have ate at two IHOP's and one of them is definitely better than the other. Whereas, almost any Pizza Hut I have ever been to has been good.)

  11. #1 - The thistle's are very pretty.
    #2 - Say What? - That's quite a town name for sure.
#3 Well not being a fan of rap (I call in "c-rap) music I still found this entertaining.
#4 - I've never heard of Waffle House but I do like waffle's and the hash brown menu sounded yummy.
#5 - Okay I have to say I'm not a Ray Charles fan. Just not my style of music.
