Sad Days


Our small community is reeling from the accidental death of a young, high school student.  Sad days ahead for the young and old, alike.

  1. It is so hard to see a community suffer. Mine is mourning for the two news reporters that were killed last week. The shooting happened in my county. :-(

  8. The same thing happened in my area last week..a young man was killed driving to school on the first day. Just heartbreaking :(

  11. Total sadness. I lost a friend when I was in high school and it took me a very long time to get over it. It's such a shock when someone so young dies.

  16. My saddest days as a high school teacher were after weekend car crashes on two occasions where my first hour Monday morning class was with their classmates....

  22. Oh, I am so, so sad. Growing up I lost two high school classmates to car accidents. I still think of them every time I drive down those country roads. Sending prayers to the community for healing and comfort.

  28. So sorry to hear of your communities loss of a young life. We've had several drive-by shootings here in town in recent months and a murder/suicide of a husband/wife so I can understand how you must feel.
