Sunday Stew

It is a perfect Autumn day here in Kentucky.  Sunshine, a bright sky, and very cool temperatures.

 I am in heaven.

While out running errands yesterday, I passed by this barn.  There are so many of these lovely structures in my area, I could probably post one everyday of the year.

Weather like this calls for some Pioneer Woman Beef Stew.  I am sure I have said it before, but I will say it again.  This stuff is good, people  Follow the recipe precisely and you won't be disappointed.  Perfect for a fall day.

Linking up with Tom today.
Won't you pay him a visit?

  1. love your kentucky territory. not too many barns in texas - more like sheds and run-ins.

  9. I like that barn, and the picture that goes with that recipe looks delicious. Do you taste the beer at all? And I wonder what beer does for it.

    1. Rose, you do not taste the beer at all. It helps to flavor and tenderize the beef. The stew itself is very flavorful.

  18. Unless it's a recipe for a drink, I usually stay away from recipes online; however, I might break my rule this time. I Agree... mmmmmmmm.

  26. Cool temps sound divine! We've had an unusually hot summer (think 94-95 rather than 86-87). On my evening walk tonight, I felt a bit of a (cool) breeze. Fall is approaching! I always enjoy your barn shots. And, with this one, I like that you included the wood fence in the foreground. I noticed you're on Twitter. Consider me your latest follower! Hope all's well!
