Thankful Thursday

Thankful today for the arrival of Autumn.  Though we may still be a bit green, here at the farmette, the leaves are starting to fall and the mornings are cool.  Soon it will be time for a fire in the wood stove.

A fire in the wood stove and a good book are my favorite combination.

"Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute and it seems like an hour.  Sit with a pretty girl for an hour and it seems like a minute."

Albert Einstein

Linking up today with Theresa.....

  16. Wonderful photo - Such pretty lighting and colors. I bet autumn is pretty there on your farm.
We have central heat so no fire in a fireplace but curling up with a good book and a nice warm beverage on a cool autumn day is a nice thought.
