Friday Randoms

Just in case you are in need of any of the above, I can totally hook you up with the source.

This story about a missed connection in 1972 has gone viral.  Some want to argue that it is not authentic, but I think we should find joy and meaning life wherever we can.

I would not walk across this bridge.  No way, now how.....

Here is a beautiful, photographic list of some great places to visit in our nation.

Leaving you with Shoshana Bean to move your right along into the weekend.  Don't miss the dog.....he is so chill.

  1. loved the music video, made me smile and such a cute little dog, lovely!! I'm with you on 'the story' and the places to visit are simply beyond amazing but I seemed to miss connecting with the bridge.......probably a good thing I hate heights...so if it is one of those I'm better not seeing it :-)

  5. I hadn't heard about the missed connection story. I think I saw something today about the China glass bridge breaking? I wouldn't walk on it no ways, no how!! I like this song- thanks for linking it up..tow tapping.

  7. Sorry, Elenka says I have enough bull.
btw Sad story in Maine. Two young kids contacted e-coli at a fair yesterday ... in the petting zoo or just touching animals. One has died already.

  8. The missed connection story is so touching. I was married in 1972 - remember the bombings - came from the Boston area. You never know the impact you will have on someone with a little bit of kindness. Thanks for sharing. x Karen

  16. p.s. I just read that one of these bridges in China, might have been this one I'm not sure, cracked as some people were walking across it. People were terrified as you can well imagine but were not harmed.

  19. An interesting list! About the story I am a little dubious: it works too well to be true...

  24. That is quite the missed connection story. That glass-bottomed bridge looks like something else. I love heights, so I think I could brave it (after they fix the crack...em, that does make me nervous!), but it does seem pretty scary considering ordinary glass breaks so easily. I think walking across it, I'd have to have one foot on each side of one of the struts, so I'd know I could straddle something if the glass broke. That said, it looks like there's a tremendous view--great opportunity for taking photos!
