Thankful Thursday

An old fence post right here on the farmette.

This Thursday I am thankful for some unconventional things:

Getting behind slow drivers who force me to take a moment to see the world around me.

A daughter with a sense of humor who has labeled me, "Birth Giver", on her phone.

A dog who will sleep through the night.

And, lastly, can we get a joint Amen for hot coffee?

"But I have found that the simple act of living with hope, and in the daily effort to have a positive impact in the world, the days I do have are made more meaningful and precious.  And for that I am grateful."

  3. AMEN!!! My coffee just beeped that it's ready! I often think of slow drivers as my angels...placed there to slow me down and pay attention to what is around me.

And another great quote . . . a good lady, oh my, the sadness she endured!
