Thankful Thursday

Fencing here at the Farmette, built by Secret Agent Farmer Man.

Thankful this Thursday for busy times.  A crazy schedule means that I am healthy and able to attend to all tasks before me.  Everything gets accomplished, no matter how full a day gets.

"Being busy does not always mean real work.  The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration.  Seeming to do is not doing."

Thomas A. Edison

  1. Lovely fence scene! It feels good though to accomplish everything on your schedule before the end of the day. But, I hope you take time for yourself. Enjoy your day!

  6. Nice photo and great quote.
"forethought, system planning, intelligence, and honest purpose"---thank you and Mr. Edison. I've been validated ;) The next time the RG asks me why I do that to myself. I will answer with 'I'm working'. He calls it over thinking.

  7. I do love a wooden fence. So much more picturesque than wire fencing. I live a busy life too.. being active is a good thing.. if you stay still.. you rust. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  22. Beautiful fence photo . . . and wise commentary from you . . . and more wisdom from Mr. Edison. This winter when you come down here to visit your mother, head a little further south to Fort Myers to visit Thomas Edison's and Henry Ford's winter homes.
