Back in the Saddle

Hello.....

It's me......

Attempting to get back into the daily routine after having a wonderful time during Christmas is proving to be a bit more difficult than usual.

Rainy days leave me somewhat unmotivated for much of anything.....except for breaking in a new camera I received for the holiday.

I don't need to get myself motivated for a little camera work, it is just automatic.
The learning curve is steep.
I hope I am up to it.

  2. I eventually read the manual for a camera after I use it awhile then it all becomes clear.

    1. I do the same. I always try things out before submitting to the manual. They are so tedious.

  3. I'm proud of you for trying right off the bat. Last camera I bought stayed in a box for two years; I was too intimidated to read through all the info. I'd say, by the beautiful pics, you are off to a great start.

    1. Donna, I had it out of the box and using it within 10 minutes of its arrival. These pics are of my farm while I was out walking with the dogs at sunset, last night.

  4. Congratulations on the new toy. I'm sure you'll be up to speed with it soon enough. I got a new long lens and, yup, the learning curve is steep. Have fun while learning. Happy New Year

  6. Oh.. I do hope you tell us the details on the new camera. I hope you do better than I did. I got a big fancy camera with lenses so I could take good photos of the moon and long shots.. and got so frustrated with it that it's in the box in my closet. I think I need a medium sized good camera. :-)
