Friday Randoms

Just a sunset here on the farmette.  Edited with a little artistic touch.

Julia Child's French cottage is up for sale.  What a little gem.  The kitchen really is an almost exact replica of her Massachusetts home.  A true cook's kitchen.

My daughter likes to make a small Gingerbread House out of a kit, but I confess that we have never taken on the true project.  If you are so inclined, here are some inspiring ideas.

In my youth, I was somewhat of a Star Wars fan.  However, I haven't really continued on with that phase.  If you happen to be one, you might want to check out these kitchen gadgets.  I am partial to the Death Star Ice Mold and Light Saber Chopsticks.

Sending you off into the weekend with a bit of Lyle Lovett.

Linking up with Tanya today!

  12. I may have to put a bid in on that house! And I was SUCH a Star Wars fan when I was ten!!! I've only seen one of the newer ones after the initial 3... I may have to see the new one tho. It's got HAN!

  13. My adult daughter has decorated the outside of her home with lighted Star Wars figures. Her boyfriend called her a Star Wars nerd. Seems everyone is excited about the new movie coming out. How did you get that watermark on your pic. I need to do that too. Your picture is beautiful. Wouldn't know how to tweak it.

    1. Donna, you can add a watermark using the Picmonkey.com, program. A lot of their editing items are free.

  20. Julia Child's cottage looks like a happy place, as do those gingerbread houses. I do not have the patience for that...the kit boxes are just fine.

  22. I kind of forgot all about Lyle lovett. I remember him as a guy going out with Julia Roberts. He sounds great! and that scene reminds me of Wizard of Oz.

  23. Pretty photo. Our grandkids make the gingerbread house from a kit. One of them made a gingerbread train this year. They're getting big enough to make their own. We liked Star Wars back then, too. Haven't seen the newer movies (the prequels) but we may have to go see the one coming out this month.
