Friday Randoms

While visiting my parents over the holidays, I was cruising the neighborhood looking for photo-worthy opportunities.  This means the husband was driving me around while I shouted, "stop!", at erratic intervals.  This pelican held his pose for quite a while.  Maybe hoping a fish would drop from the sky.

Are you looking for a new challenge for 2016?  I might have just the ticket!  The Army is looking for some willing participants for a 3-week all MRE diet.  If you are that person....click here.

Meadowlark Lemon passed earlier this week.  I remember watching him, and the Harlem Globetrotters, as a child.  What a fantastic memory.

Garden & Gun's best photos of 2015 can be found here.   Worth your time....

I will be ringing in 2016 with a glass of wine and season 6 of Justified.  If, however, your evening was a bit more.....excitable, might I suggest one of these remedies.

  5. Thanks for your "randoms" . . . but I think I'll pass on the MRE diet . . . I actually drank some of the liquid from my jar of dill pickles (it hasn't kicked in yet) . . . enjoyed the pics in Garden & Gun . . .
and am just in slow-motion this morning. It's a cold sunny day in Missouri, waiting for the highways and roads to be re-opened. Happy New Year there.
p.s. Hoping something dropped into that pelican beak!

  12. Lol over the mre diet. That sounds rough. I think those meals are over 1000 calories too with like no fiber. I would puff up like a marshmallow.
