Friday Randoms

Yes, we still have some grass hanging around central Kentucky, along with a little tobacco drying in the barn eaves.  With some below freezing temps and a bit of snow coming our way this weekend, it just might disappear.

This dog gets a ball pit for his birthday and it is just about as cute as you might think.

Adult coloring books are all the rage and several of my friends report their relaxing effect.  More of their great qualities can be found here.

The magical beauty of a snowflake can be witnessed right here.

Leaving you with a little ELO for the weekend ahead......

Linking up with Tanya today....

  2. The night temperatures in the teens really worked on the radish and pea plants in the cover crops but the grass is hanging on so far here.

  5. Our grass is unusually green, too!

When I was a part of Creative Tuesdays, I did notice how relaxed I was while drawing/coloring my sketches. And there are tons of free printable adult coloring pages online. I printed off a stack and put them in Lauren's stocking along with a pack of colored pencils. Fun!

And that "dog and his balls" video is wonderful. 3 different people now had shared with me.
And as you know, I love old barns. That's a good one.
We are forecast to get our first snow of the season tomorrow. Stay tuned . . .

  13. Love the barn. The dog was funny. I'd love to do that for Daisy but she doesn't 'get' balls!
She is completely clueless what to do. She can herd though!
    Thanks for sharing!
    Have a good weekend.

  15. Wish I had a barn like that...would be a great photo prop for my quilts! I sent my mum a colouring in book for Christmas as she is stuck in a care home atm and I thought it would keep her occupied.....she was thrilled and loves it. I didn't tell my MIL I was sending her one as she has enjoyed showing her derision of them every chance she gets...but then again she is not at all creative.

  18. Love the picture!!
We had quite a bit of green here up until about 10 days ago. It was so nice that I picked some dill from our garden for potato salad on Christmas day. That is crazy for north of Chicago!!!
