Home Again

To market, to market to buy a fat pig,

Home again, home again, jiggety-jig.....

That is where we are planted again today, home.  Even though the main roads have been plowed, many roads, including those in the direct vicinity of our schools, remain untouched.

The men went to work yesterday and the girl and I did some shopping.  Not having left the farmette in five days, it was time I ventured out into the world.  We picked up some food and some clothes, and some clothes, and some clothes.....

Teenage girls seem to need a lot, especially when they continue to grow.  I am now the shortest person in the household.

What is on the agenda for today?

Hmmmm.....

Some chores and a bit of time outside.  With it being thirty-nine degrees out right now, it seems positively tropical.

Tropical, I tell ya......

  3. Good for you for getting out even if it was to shop for clothes. I'm not a shopper but a growing teenager DOES need clothes. ;)

  17. We're hovering in the 40s this morning. Doesn't feel one bit tropical here for me....more like the Tundra in the middle of winter.

I can understand wanting to get out....and shopping for clothes and more clothes. That's ALWAYS fun.

  21. Must of been nice to get out after being housebound Michelle. I know exactly how you feel about the height thing being only 5ft 2inches AND the girls needing lots of clothes :)

  22. that snow manages to get everywhere!!! i have spent a lot of time at home but i do enjoy it. 45 degrees here, with a big melt off!!!

  23. How fast they grow up, don't they? Being snowed in is better than being stuck in the house due to mud, mud, and more mud. Things are better here, hope you will be back to normal soon.

  24. I'd give anything to have that kind of temperature... Hope you're enjoying your time outdoors!

  26. How come women get a shopping gene and guys don't? One more thing I don't understand about women.
