A Small Barn

Sharing a garage barn today for Tom's link-up.  From the looks of the roof, it has been around for a long time.  Actually, so does that tractor.

Linking up today with, The Barn Collective.

  1. Nice barn. Nowadays, they are usually made of sheet metal. Not as pretty as the wood ones. Probably an old Farmall tractor, the workhorse of its day.

  3. Thanks Michelle for sharing your small barn which doesn't look all that small to me. I hope that you will be able to return again soon.

  4. Old barns are charming, and old traktors so impressive ... A rustic red tractor of my uncles is so photogenic (I hope he still has it next summer when visiting him!)

  5. More tractors are now living where there once was horses
I like the stone fence (if that is what it is) in the foreground

  6. I like the doors on this barn. It seems to have a good roof on it, so maybe not too old. I like that old tractor, too. Have a great Sunday!

  7. I like the way the tractor is peaking out of the barn.

  9. That tractor looks like it is close to my age! And so does that roofline, but can't really tell about the barn itself.

  10. Great barn/garage! We have a barn garage too.. but we need a "machine shed". We have too many cars, trucks and tractors that need shelter. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  17. A wee barn is still a barn and it is still very usable. I find it interesting that it has a garage door on the other opening. Pretty clever repurposing.

  18. Looks like that tractor wants to come out and play.

  19. Small but very sweet! Good things come in small packages, at least that's what I tell myself being only 5ft 2inches :)

  20. Don't know about the barn, but the tractor looks 'vintage'...

  21. I'm echoing VP. I wouldn't have noticed the roof as old but the tractor, yes!

  22. The tractor looks like it's checking out the weather before it goes outside, those headlights look like eyes.

  24. Like your header, Michelle, but a bit on the cold side for me . .
Yes the barn roof is sagging a bit . . . could do with a new ridge board.
Love the old tractors . . . do you drive it?

  25. The shingles on the roof, although it's sagging, looks relatively new. Love the vintage tractor!

  26. I love the line of the roof on those old barns.

  27. Tractors remind me of the movie, CARS, with ToMater. Dunno why.
    lol

Anyway, that is a good barn 'find'...and the tractor is a aged treasure!
