Friday Randoms

I am all about pine cones lately, no?  Last Friday it was gigantic pine cones and now we have teeny-tiny ones.  I ran across these while out for a walk.  They were about the size of a thimble.

With all of the political news floating around out there, this is one way to get some insight into the mind of a candidate.   If you are a Harry Potter fan, then it is especially meaningful.

Thinking of a quiet weekend for this Valentine's Day?  Here is a list of 50 great romantic comedies, both past and present.  I will admit one of my favorites is, The Proposal.

This modern take on a traditional farmhouse design is for sale.  They have some before and after photos, but I like it so much I would even take anything in-between.

Leaving you with a little Three Dog Night for the weekend.
Enjoy!

Linking up with Tanya today!

  2. No plans here for the V-Day weekend. Maybe go wandering into the woods with my camera (I know you like to do that, too.) I'm ready for Spring, and anxious to get my garden bed ready for planting.
    So tired of winter.
(Love your pine cone pic. You've got a good eye, m'dear.)
    Enjoy your weekend.

  5. LOVE the photo . . . oh yes, really, really love this photo - thank you for sharing it -
I used to sing in a rock band - once, we were the warm up band for Three Dog Night - I was singing for sound check in when a speaker made a "ping" sound - then went silent . . the guys in my band were impressed that my voice was so powerful . . (giggle, just teenage, fanciful thinking - still fun.)

  12. I sure hope there's someone worthy of my vote come next November. This whole field is less than desirable, if you ask me. My post scheduled for Monday also includes Three Dog Night. Great minds, as they say. Lol Happy Valentines Day!

  17. Oh my! The farmhouse is fabulous and a steal for a million :)Beautifully renovated. I'm sure the world waits with bated breath to see what happens in your elections Michelle. I refuse to believe there will be enough votes for Donald Trump, that surely couldn't happen.. could it?

  19. The Proposal was one of my favorites too! I love movies! I seem to always pick up pine cones when I see them, I love them. I cleaned my car the other day and found one stuck under the seat! To me they are just beautiful.

  22. That NC farmhouse is pretty sweet, isn't it? I would return it closer to the way it was originally decorated. It had more style then.
