Thankful Thursday

The fence is almost invisible.  The droplets of rain give it away.

Thankful this Thursday for my second grade students.  Yes, they can be challenging, but who else would ask me if I had been alive when Abraham Lincoln was president?

Who else would gift me with a candy bar because they were afraid I wouldn't get anything for Valentine's Day?

Life.....it is good.

  9. What a nice post.
    Thank you for sharing.
I've started to do some sub teaching, but middle school ages.
Not blessed with "2nd grade moments" like yours, but I do take away some nice encounters.
(Never worry about Valentine's Day, because you are loved in so many other ways,
    even from afar.)
    xx

    P.S. Love your view.

  17. My eyes are not the best, but could see your fence. I have a niece that teaching the young ages, and she tells some if the most interesting things. Leave to a child to say the way it is.
