Thankful Thursday

So very thankful this Thursday.

Thankful for the continued health of my parents.  Thankful for being able to spend a day with my husband and children at the ballpark, even though the Reds got rocked by the Cubs.  Thankful for picking from the garden.  Woot!

"Isn't it funny how, day by day, nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different."

C.S. Lewis

Linking up this gate picture with Theresa today.

  2. Lots of signs to get the message across.I have been shocked a few times by hikers coming through the yard, but the dogs alleviate the problem.

  4. All good reasons to be thankful...I'm guessing "woot!" is an exclamation of pleasure, approval or joy, rather like "spiffing!", or "Oh, I say jolly good!" - or possibly "that rocks!"? Personally, I'm thankful it's Friday tomorrow :-). Love the photo - not so sure about the sign.

  5. We live in a rural area inside a National Scenic Area and there are a lot of spandex covered bicyclists on the roads.. we've come out and seen a group of them and their bikes enjoying a rest period in our yard! Not only that, we have a woods and our grandsons found a nasty area in there that obviously the bicyclists are using, toilet paper and all! Not pleased!

  10. The sign on the fence ought to deter those who don't respect others property. I am amazed at how many people walk or drive like they own the whole world.
