Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday for the sweetest weather.  Temps in the mid 70's mean that this old house has all of her windows and doors open, all day long.  Breezes blow through these old hallways, the birds tweet outside, and the dogs know how to let themselves out the back door.

Heaven, I tell ya.

"Old houses do not belong to people, ever, not really, people belong to them."

  4. Oh, yeah, yesterday was just about as perfect weather wise as anyone could ask for here in the mountains. All the windows were open on this hill, too. Today is starting off the same way but may get warmer this afternoon.

  5. I had a pet door on my other home, but it allowed the cat to bring in treasures. I am, waiting for the pool to open, it is 87 already at 11am.There is a breeze, but I am afraid i will have to give in to the AC later today.

  13. You are right, take people out of a house and it goes downhill. Last week we were having 50 degree weather, and this week 98.
