Friday Randoms

I picked some Gladiolus and brought them inside, only to find this little guy had hitched a ride.  He could fit on the top of a penny.

A perfect 1841 farmhouse is for sale in Georgia.  Recently restored, it is a gem, as is the 77 acres that go along with it.

Some of the most beautiful spots in America can be found right here.
How many have you been to?

If you, or someone you know, could use some extra cash, here is an easy way to get it.  It might require some snacking.

Leaving you with some Norah Jones for this holiday weekend.
Make it a good one!

  4. Is that wee frog called a Peepers? We have them in Canada but usually in Spring. Peeping for 3 weeks in the Marsh areas. Looks like your wee guys stay as well into the summer. Interesting post.

  5. Oh, my. Now that's a farm house I could gladly live in. And I've been to 15 of the 27 places on that list and near several others. Have a Happy Fourth!

  6. Hi Michelle, Your photo today is just amazing. Excellent! As I was scrolling through the most beautiful places in America, I reached America's Most Beautiful Island ... sadly it is not John's ... ha ha ... just kidding. I have to agree, their choice looks a bit better! Have a fine weekend ahead!

  8. What a cute hitchhiker you found in those flowers and amazing that he practically posed for you. What happened after you got that shot, Michelle? A very nice GA farmhouse. Thanks for the extra cash tips, but I'm good without it now :-)

    1. Beatrice, my daughter picked him up and examined him for a while. He was so cute! We put him back outside, in a flower bed.

  11. Love your little hitchhiker! I just cut some glads and brought them in, but didn't see anything as cute as this. :)

  12. That little frog is a fine hitch hiker. I never see them; maybe I am just not observant. And, I was surprised how few of those places I had visited, and I think of myself as well-traveled. Norah Jones: She burst on the scene and has pretty much disappeared. I wonder why.

  13. That frog is adorable! If I could live in Georgia and had a spare $950,000 I'd be buying that place!
The Cheeto's? I guess you can build a museum about anything! Loved the pics of all those beautiful places. I need to see more on that list. I never listen to Norah Jones, but I just may start. I loved that!

  14. What a fun surprise to see that little guy in your bouquet of flowers! Good capture! I'm glad you found him in time to put him back outside instead of stepping on him barefoot in the evening. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  20. That little frog is so darling. I'm envious that you can grow Glads; I tried this year and out of 12 bulbs I got ONE flower. I think it's too hot here.
I loved the list of beautiful places to see in the U.S. Proud to say I've seen a few....but so many I'd love to visit.
Sadly I love Cheeto's.....but not enough to inspect before I eat. :)
