Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday to be visiting with my coworkers.  After a few weeks off work, we all have much to catching up to do. I truly am blessed to work with some wonderful people.  Our classrooms are coming together as we are preparing for our open house next week.

 Yes, seriously this early.

Sharing a photo of a barn that is surely not functional anymore.
Hopefully it is just decoration for the landscape.

  3. I love how farms choose to leave their non-functioning barns
and sheds to age and "relax" gracefully. So much a part of
    the landscape.

  6. Oh I love this ... all of it!! The charm of the barn, the back woods...the dirt road. Countryside at its finest.

  15. I'm so glad I found your blog! I've enjoyed looking at your beautiful pictures. My parents have a barn on their farm that is slowing sinking to the ground. I'll have to get a picture and post on my blog. School starts really early in your area. We still have a few weeks.

  19. What a shame the owners let the property get in this state. However, it really makes for a nice fence shot.

  20. I bet that old barn is thankful you took its picture. You have to admire it, hanging on by a thread. Good luck with the prep for the beginning of the school year.

  21. Oh goodness that poor barn. It's a great scene and yes the barn doesn't seem functional other than for making a great photo opportunity. - Summer is going by way to quickly, hard to fathom that some will be heading back to school soon.
