Friday Randoms

A sweet butterfly I spied on the farmette.

I can't believe this happened to The Colonel.  I mean, it was supposed to be a secret.  Harlan would not be happy.

When the time comes, I can only hope to reside in a facility as wonderful as this.

This little baby is sleeping through her moment of fame.

Leaving you with a little Rye Whiskey for the weekend.

  1. Crazy about the recipe! Many have tried to duplicate it in years past but when it comes from the nephew, it seems a little more credible! haha. But the way they cook it probably has a lot to do with the taste...and double breading. Yum!

  3. Hello, pretty butterfly. The retirement village is cute, I could live there. I had some post with the red too, I could not change it to black for some reason. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

  9. I'm with you - I'll just visit KFC.
I love, love, love that little village. I work as a nurse in a skilled nursing facility and I know how some of our dementia residents would appreciate this!
    You find the best music!
    That baby is just adorable.

    I'm trying out that KFC recipe . . .
My children never slept so sound that I could dress and redress them . . .

  21. Nice capture of the butterfly! He posed very nicely for you.
I really don't care what the recipe for KFC is as long as I can still get some chicken when I want it!! I agree about the little retirement places.
