Friday Randoms

If we have nothing else, in this small town, we certainly have religion.

For stargazers in the Western Hemisphere, a rare Black Moon will be visible in tonight's sky.  What is a Black Moon, you ask?  It is when a new moon appears twice in one month.

May we all have this situation as we move through life.

This is an interesting look into the bedrooms of people around our world.

Leaving you with The Eagles first #1 hit......

Linking up with Tanya today.

  2. I have never heard of a Black Moon before. Interesting! Love the revival sign too--our town is about the same, more churches than stores, I think.

    1. We absolutely have more churches than stores around here. Tent revivals happen at least twice a year.

  6. Love that sign! I guess I didn't realize good old fashioned revivals still exist....even in small town America. Wonderful pic of Grandpa. And, the bedroom photo series is an interesting one. Of course, I must point out the one photo showing an American is a Texan surrounded by guns on his bed --- because that's how all Americans live, right? :)

    1. I totally agree about the Texan in his bedroom. Why the need to display all of those guns?!

  11. I asked a friend, our small town historian when our last "tent revival" was and she wasn't sure but well before her time. Actually it was the first time I ever stumped her...:)

  19. What an interesting perspective on the bedroom photos. I felt like I was looking into a well! And what a sweet photo of a very kind and loving man doing his wife's hair. I can tell you my husband would never touch my hair. I'd be stuck with a mess. Ha.
