Rainy Day

Yesterday was a drab, rainy kind of day.

Though the sky was a wash out, the land continues to give much in the way of color.  Goldenrod and wildflowers continue to bloom.  Our annual small town festival was held this past weekend and the weather kept many people at home, including me.

Nothing like a rainy day for a nap and a movie.

"And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down.  Without the rain, there would be no rainbow."

Rabindranath Tagore

  13. I have felt about 10 raindrops since April or May. There's talk about a thunderstorm coming, but we'll see. I love that quote, it goes very deep.

  15. A rainy day is an excuse not to have to work outdoors. It's a great time for a movie and popcorn. :-)
