This and That

A picture of a water pump, just because.
I believe I need one here on the farmette.

Despite our cool temps and rainy days, with zero sun, these petunias continue to thrive, along with some Basil and Impatiens.

"Someone", got into the cabinet and ate a bag of mini-doughnuts......

I'm not going to say any names, but I bet her English Pointer partner-in-crime helped her along.

  1. A criminal in your midst! Poor little thing, just wanted a little snack. Love that water pump too. My flowers dried up during our long dry spell, but the geraniums and stevia are holding on thank goodness.

  5. That look on the dogs face almost appears not guilty. Perhaps it felt you got it for the dogs. I had a dog eat 2 dozen bratwurst and wasn't sure that would be good for him and called my vet asking what to do. "I wouldn't let him in," replied the vet.

  7. I remember that my grandparents in Oklahoma had a pump right on their back porch and their drinking water was in a bucket hanging over the sink with a ladle hanging off of it. I even have that pump somewhere. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  8. Aha that black pump brings back childhood memories of days on the old farm we lived in! It was so hard for us to use! But it's a lovely feature!

  13. lol! I got fed up last night and cleaned my 16 year old's room while she was at work. I got back about a half cupboard of dishes, two huge baskets of towels and a full garbage bag. I also found a brand new tub of peanut butter that I KNEW I'd bought but couldn't find and bottle of ketchup...
LOVE the pump! You need one!

  15. Those petunias are looking great for this late in the season. BUT, I am only a fan of good things. I would just as soon avoid the bad things.
