A Small Town Classic

This barn sits beside our local ballpark and I have photographed it many a time.  As I passed it, just a couple of days ago, who did I think of, but Tom!

According to the weather report, it might have a few snowflakes on its roof by the middle of the week.  Let's hope so.

Linking up with The Barn Collective today.

  1. Love the old barns, they don't make them like they used to. Always glad to see them being maintained.

  2. I have trespassed and walked around in a few of those. They usually have lots of interesting hardware and old jars and bottles. Lots of neat stuff, says the kid in me.

  8. Beautiful! I suspect you could take photos of this barn from all different angles, in different seasons, at different times of day - and get completely different photos. I love the light in this one!

    1. Karen, my daughter plays softball at this park quite frequently, so I have taken many shots of this barn. It is a favorite of mine.

  9. Okay....but please, keep the snow there!!
I don't mind seein' snow in photos at my age, but to have to deal with it, traffic, slick streets, and crazy drivers...nope. The barn roof is sufficient. I LOVE this photo tho, VERY serene.

  13. It's a grand old building, isn't it? I like the sort of formal setting you give it, centred and framed by the trees. Interesting looking sky, too.
