Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday to have all Christmas preparations complete and in order.  I even placed our mail lady's gift in the mailbox for her to receive in, we'll say, about an hour from now.  How can I forget her when she provides us with great service, offers to help round up cows, and leaves us personal notes in the mailbox.

Great people are all around us, we just have to look.

  2. first of all I just love that building...looks like an old general store maybe? I'm heading to WalMart here in a second as soon as my oldest son Christian gets out of the shower...I just have to pick up dog presents and some stocking stuffers and then I'm done! Then it's Christmas meal planning and shopping but I hate to stick all that in my Christmas gift shopping, overwhelms me haha so I'll do that tomorrow I guess! Great things to be thankful for....I should have left something out for our trash collectors yesterday but forgot :( Have a Merry Christmas Michelle if I don't "see" you before then!

  3. I've always wanted to take part in your Thankful Thursdays so I'm linking for the first time today! We have so much to be thankful for at this time of year. And remembering the people that deliver our mail is always thoughtful! Holiday hugs, Diane

  6. I like the character of that building. The open screen doors provides a welcoming factor in spite of the no trespassing sign.

  12. I have had all my shopping done for a few weeks but still want to go out more. I am thankful to still have the money to do so.After a memorial service for the 32 homeless people who had died this year in our state capital I am very thankful to have charming home and warm bed to sleep in. I heard some alarming stories from the people around me.
