Friday Randoms

Tried to take a photo while riding down the road.  Didn't quite make it......

This has always been the go-to cough remedy in our house....minus the water.
It's a sure thing.

This old schoolhouse is for sale in England.  I say...let's move in!!!

It would be pretty interesting to be this close to lava spilling out in the sea, but all I can see is how much the boat is bobbing up and down.

Leaving you with some Joe Cocker for the weekend.
Enjoy!

  2. Hello, happy Friday! I would like to live in that old schoolhouse. It is beautiful. The Joe Cocker song is a favorite. I would be sick on that boat. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

  3. Our 'go to' recipe for a cold/cough is almost exactly the same Michelle, the difference being whiskey instead of bourbon, or are they the same? YES to the old school house, yes, yes and yes ☺ I agree it would be fascinating to see the lava, but not that close ☺

  4. I wonder if that cough cure would help the motion sickness from the boat? Have a lovely weekend, Michelle.

  8. My son caught a virusy cold this week and has been hacking everywhere. I finally couldn't take it anymore and went and mixed a few tablespoons of lemon juice with a teaspoon or so of honey (so scientific measurements here... just dumped) into a cup and stirred it away. Insisted he take a small teaspoonful at a time. He chugged it. But later confessed that it seemed to help and could I please make him some more? :) Darn stubborn kids. He went to the doctor this morning and it's just a virus that he has to work out of his system. But stocking up on lemon juice and honey anyway!

  11. That adult cough syrup sounds like a better choice than over the counter ones available in retail chain pharmacies. And the English schoolhouse looks lovely but not much like its former self, just saying.

  12. Good music! Love the school - and the landscaping too. I've heard the honey, lemon and whiskey mix is good for coughs, but never tried it.

  13. I had my first boiled peanuts in a farmers market in Amish country of Ohio.. yum! That schoolhouse is a dream. Dang.. with I was a billionaire. Not really. That lava shot was scary... I don't think I'd want to be that close to it.. might melt the boat! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
