Thankful Thursday

Thankful today for my family.  I have two children who are very different, but incredibly dedicated to their endeavors.  I look at them sometimes and know, for certain, that I didn't have that kind of purpose in life at their age.  Did I mention that the husband works tirelessly?   The farm is managed, he works full time, and has spent at least a million hours sitting on a five-gallon bucket catching softballs as my daughter's catcher.

Blessed, I am.

What are you thankful for today?  Take a moment and share a post telling what you are thankful for.  It doesn't matter if it is big, little, or somewhere in between.

    1. Tanya, I found this bit of fence in a very old cemetery. I would also love to have some of this type of fencing at our farm.

  3. I haven't had time to be thankful this morning; maybe just waking up? We have a long fence and gates like that at our farm. A few more little curlicues and balls on top, but very old like that (and oh so heavy. )hey don't make them like that anymore.

    1. Donna, they really don't make them like this anymore. I spied this one at a cemetery. Your fence sounds like quite the treasure.

  13. Very interesting fence! I think maybe the best thing ever is to feel thankful for your family. It seems like everything else can fall into place when you have that.

  14. Today I was so very thankful to see my Great Grand
while I visited my daughter, SIL and hear her say . . .
"GG, GG come here and sit with me, I like to see you."
Said as she twirled, jumped, bounced her 21/2 self from here to there.
In the few weeks since Christmas when she was beginning to
speak in short sentences, now she is in jabbering conversations.
Amazing . . . I am thankful for this delightful, precious little one.

Loved the image and your thankful thoughts about your children and husband.
