This and That

Yesterday had our family at home enjoying a warm day with bits of sunshine peeking through the clouds.  Quite a few bees were out and about on the farmette.

I chatted on the phone with my dad for a bit, then he said he had to go and mow the lawn.  Well, no green grass here, so some moss will have to suffice.

This sweet chickadee, and friends, were at the feeders.

Our English Pointer spent his day mending fences and doing barn chores with the Secret Agent Farmer Man.

This is what total exhaustion looks like.

Is there a prettier richer green than that of moss . . .
    I liked the tired one too . . .

  10. Those dogs of ours just seem to sleep their lives away, don't they? That green moss is what covers our whole yard, year 'round...with only small patches of grass. Not much to mow! Enjoy your week, Michelle :)

  15. I haven't ventured over to my son's house to see if his bees are still in and out...I have wondered what they do in the winter- guess I'll find out. Poor pup- looks like he put some miles on his paws that day! Sweet sleeper.

  16. I'm glad to see that your bees are alive and well.. and that you're feeding your little birds. We're doing extra duty of feeding the birds, chickens and hummingbirds during our long freeze here and freezing rain is heading our way. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
