Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday for laughter.  It's the one thing that can carry me through a bad day or make a great day even better.  It can lighten the mood and save the moment.  Take, for instance, a few days ago when a student asked if I spray painted my hair.

You gotta laugh at moments like that.  What are you thankful for today?  Take a moment and let me know.  I would love to hear from you.

  4. That is like my daughter arguing with her twin brother (9 years old) about whether I am old. One says no because I don't have gray hair. The other says yes because I do have gray hair, I just get it colored a different color. LOL. Have a great day. xo

  7. Oh yes, laughter is the best medicine for anything that ails you. Sometimes I feel like I'd like to spray paint my hair when I see those grays popping through! I am thankful for many things today but right now, I'm especially thankful the new floors that will be coming next week...I think the 30+ year old carpet has "worn out" it's welcome! :) Happy Thursday, Michelle!

  8. Laughter is a good thing to be thankful for. It does make life better!

Spray paint on your hair?? I have to admit, I have seen some wild multi-colors on people that would make you wonder. LOL

  9. I'm thankful for good health for myself and my family - it's the first thing that comes to mind every time I ponder that question.

As for the spray painting of the hair.. LOL, really? Well, think of it as a compliment - it must be a vibrant color, good for you. I don't have a lot of grays yet but I do notice the color is not as deep brunette as it used to be.

  19. Well ... do you? (spray paint your hair) Am chuckling, because like you, am a city slicker, now living outside a small rural town, and since I put some blue highlights in my hair, some stare - not knowing whether I'm 20 years younger than hubby, or if he's a friend (meaning, no way, can she be his wife).
Love your photo of the wheel by the trunk!

  23. Laughter is the very BEST . . .
I laughed at the "do you spray paint your hair!"
I love it when Mister Irish laughs at something, then I laugh, then we get on a "roll of laughter"
so much so that tears roll down our face and we haven't a clue of what we are laughing about.
    So wonderfully infectious!
