Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday for the small things that keep me going.  Kind words from a friend, cards/notes from my students, a text from my family, kind comments from people when I am out and about, are all things that give me that pick up when I need it.  I like to think of these people as my pit crew.  They give me the fuel I need to keep up my pace.

What are you thankful for today?  Big or small, just lay it on me!

I would love to hear it.

  4. I like you enjoy those simple pleasures.Sometimes just a simple smile can make my day bloom.I will be looking forward to all the tulips I added this year blooming, if the squirrels and deer leave them alone.

    1. That is one thing I love about my time off, I teach 2nd grade. My summer mornings, so quiet and slow, are heaven to me.

  17. Isn't it something how much we appreciate kindness more and more as we get older...not that I didn't when younger. But it really touches my heart these days.

  18. Hi Michelle, I found your Thankful Thursday via Rose. You and I followed one another's blogs a few years back - you won a jar of fig preserves from me in a giveaway! lol I have just started a new blog and look forward to joining you here soon. I love the pretty tulips and sometimes a kind word, a smile, a note really mean a lot. Wishing you a lovely weekend. Mildred in Georgia
