This and That

Around this time last year, we were knee deep in snow, as shown above.  Just as it should be for this time of year.  Now we can't even get a flake.  We are expecting thunderstorms, some severe, tomorrow night.  Our weather has become so bizarre.

On a more positive note, I was able to hang some clothes on the line this past weekend.  Not something I usually do in February.

I did start watching, The Santa Clarita Diet, this weekend.  Featured on Netflix, it is a zombie/comedy/horror/type of flick.  Strange, but funny for sure.

My Jack Russell doesn't want to get out of bed on these cool mornings.  Meaning she doesn't want to get out of my bed.  I just pull the covers up to her chin and leave her be.

I hope your week is off to a great start.  So far, so good here.

  1. Beautiful snowy scene.
Not sure we're going to get much of a snow this year.
    But then again . . .

  2. Pretty picture. It almost makes me wish I was back in snow country. The operative word here is "almost." :)

  5. Beautiful picture! WEird weather indeed. Today we've got rain in the forecast. I'll take it - easier for barn chores than when I'm shoveling through snow.

  6. Stay safe. I hope those storms won't be too harsh. The image from last year is amazing!

  9. That's a lovely shot. Winter in our part of the UK has been ridiculously mild - few mornings where the windscreen needed scraping. I like winter to make a bit of a statement - but not too much, of course...

  15. Wishing I could hang clothes on a line!!! Especially bedding. Nothing can beat that fragrance of bedding dried outdoors [here, in our subdivision, clotheslines are prohibited]....bummer.

I would LOVE to see your sweet fur baby all bundled up on the bed. What a picture that creates.

  16. Hello, love the pretty scene and snow. You dog has a great idea to stay in a warm bed on a cold morning. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!

  20. I think the weather is a little bizarre everywhere these days Michelle. We're having so much more rain than we ever do in summer this year, not that I'm complaining! I did see the 'green' bathmat, such an unusual concept ☺ Amazing to think this time last year you were knee deep in snow and this year not a flake.. there's no denying climate change!

  22. Beautiful! We got an inch of powder last night and I just shoveled it off while the boy was waiting for the bus. It's supposed to be warm again by this weekend. Yay! If this is global warming, then I just see what all the fuss is about... ;)

  23. I wrote a thankful post. I will try to link in the morning before work.
If not I'll link when I get home! Thanks for the party. Sorry I've missed for a few weeks.
    Have a great one.

  24. Ugh, isn't that the one with Drew and she eats people? LOL! It was 80 here. I'm not impressed with the weather right now because it seems like we just skipped right over winter and went traight to the severe storm season.
