Friday Randoms

Another natural spring in our area.  This one is located in the area where my mom grew up.

Here are a few sports photos that are worth your time.

Ben and Jerry's has some new ice cream flavors that my daughter will love.  Cereal flavored ice cream is a thing.  I will pass.

I have gardened with straw bales before and shall be doing it again.  Here is a little inspiration to get you started.

Sending you off into the weekend with some Post Modern Jukebox.
Enjoy!

  1. Ah, that spring. I miss our spring water. We had it for about 15 years before the vein shifted so much we couldn't re-capture it. The well is great and plentious, but the taste isn't great. That bright, clear spring water was a true gift.

  3. Yup I'll pass on the cereal flavoured ice cream too, if I want cereal I'll have it in a bowl ☺ there are too many other delicious flavours too choose from! The straw bale mulch is very popular here also, my sister uses it all the time. Happy weekend Michelle.

  5. Michelle, Momo Fuku Milkbar in NYC soaks corn flakes in milk then strains out all the particles. The milk is delicious. I tried it. I've never grown anything in hay bales, but a friend grew tomatoes.

  6. When we lived in Pennsylvania we had a small natural spring in our backyard. The kids had a great time playing in it.
