Sunflowers in my Future

Spring is truly here as our local drive-in theater is now in operation, for the season.  However, the wood stove is cranking and beef stew is on the menu for today, because it is cold!

Warm again tomorrow, such is spring in Kentucky.

Sharing an oldie from the archives this morning.  Hoping for sunflowers this summer.  Such a joyous flower.

Linking up with The Barn Collective today.

  2. Last year the birdies planted several sunflowers for me. Look like a couple are already coming up this year. Time for me to plant some more seeds as I really enjoyed the sunflowers.

  4. Cold here but I haven't built a fire yet so the back up heat is coming on some. Luckily I only have cabbage planted and they love this weather. I have a package of sunflower seeds, little tiny seeds so I guess they will be small ones.

  14. I was shocked to see sunflowers today. Until I read the small print: (from the archives.) No sunflowers in my yard, but some places in Connecticut where I can see and photograph plenty.
