Bring on the Ball

This past weekend was spent in Owensboro, Kentucky.  We were there for a softball tournament of statewide proportions.

While we didn't win like we thought we would, it was a positive experience in its own right.

I will be the owner of one of these wagons pretty soon.  All of my entertainment/softball mom stuff will fit into it so nicely.

The girl of the house did a fine job pitching

We did manage a stop at Moonlite BBQ.  I sampled everything, including the mutton, burgoo, and lemon drop pie. Highly recommend.... all of it.

  2. I never broke down and got myself one of those wagons. I wish I had...rather than being the pack animal I was at baseball games! I had never heard of burgoo before, si looked it up. Sounds yummy!

  4. Sorry you didn't win but glad you had a "positive" experience. I pitched for an adult softball league. Not easy if your daughter's throwing them across the plate she's doing good!

  13. Your daughter is so talented! I like that wagon--we have one we use when we go out to the zoo with our grandkids as it hold all the jackets and snacks and water bottles, plus they can get a ride in it if they get tired. Yummmm...lemon drop opie sounds so good!
