Anniversary Sunday

Today marks our 29th wedding anniversary.
How will we spend it, you ask?
It looks something like this:

~ extra cups of coffee ~
~ catching up on the news ~
~ conversations with our young adult children ~
~ a loaf of banana bread in the oven ~
~ making a fountain out of an old claw foot bathtub ~
~ checking on tomato plants ~
~ making a pan of lasagna for supper ~
~ appreciating every moment ~

We have a trip set for later this month, when schedules allow, to mark this occasion.  But, today will be the best kind of Sunday.  My favorite kind of Sunday, right here on the farmette.

Linking up with The Barn Collective today.

  19. Happy Anniversary - what a wonderful way to spend it - our favorite type of day. We are about to hit our 53rd anniversary - maybe a little trip to one of the islands nearby in Western Washington to celebrate - long evenings watching the boats and birds - quiet times to reflect on our good fortune over the years - anniversaries are great for celebrating the small things that make life so wonderful.

  20. Happy anniversary! We had our 20th last summer, and didn't do anything for it. I'm hoping we can do something special by 25 though.

  26. Congratulations! That's quite a milestone. I like the way you plan to celebrate the occasion, too. Later this month we'll be celebrating our 60th. On our 50th we went to Paris. I'd like to do that again, but the 10 years have made such trips physically difficult, if not impossible. So, we'll have some of the kids come visit and have a mini-reunion! :)
