Thankful Thursday


Thankful today for color.  The colors of Summer are filling flower beds, pots, and hanging baskets.  The color attracts hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.  All the things I like to see are arriving, right on time.  I am most looking forward to the colors of fresh tomatoes in few weeks.

    I'm thankful for the weather but not so sure about the bugs. The cat brought me something that crawled in from the porch the other day and I near fainted.

    we didn't plant any veggies this year but i sure will miss tomatoes...i did plant some basil and need to pick up a few more herbs...i also need to plant some flowers around the flag pole nick and the boys put up....i'm thinking lavendar as i saw some pretty containers of it at the nursery the other day :)

    Lovely flower. Ah, fresh tomatoes taste great. I love them in salsa, grilled cheese sandwiches,salads or just by themselves. Enjoy!

    I am thankful for good health for myself and my family. I say that every time I see the question. So many things to be thankful for, though.. and I hope I always remember that. Nice picture! Our tomatoes are looking pathetic. Might have to get new plants - too much rain around here lately.
