Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday for flowers and I should also say nature.  Being off from work in the summer affords me the time to be outside, a lot.  Arranging fountains, filling bird feeders, tending flowers, and checking tomato plants are a few of my favorite activities.  Pictured above is a Canna Lily about to bloom.  Around this house I also have Four O'Clocks, Zinnia, Coleus, Cleome, Ferns, Wave Petunias, and so much more.

What are you thankful for today?  Shout it out, feel blessed, and be blessed!

  2. I'll have to google cleome. I don't know what that is. For all I know, at the city house, I've been pulling them up as weeds.

  11. I love seeing these lilies about to bloom! Deer love lilies so they would not last long here. I am always thankful for living in Colorado right now, but I'm also glad this week that I am recovering from almost having pneumonia. I was so very ill but thankfully antibiotics worked well!

  14. Hi Michelle! That's a lovely flower. I've heard of calla lilies but not canna lilies. Do you know the difference? Re playing golf: practice helps if you know how to practice. I'd recommend a good teacher to get you going.
