Thankful Thursday

Thankful this Thursday for the unseen cheerleader.  You know those friends you rarely see, but who remain in the background pushing you forward in life?  I have one of those in Ms. E.  This card arrived in the mail last week.  Inside were kind, inspiring words and some flower seeds.  For me, this is the kind of thing that helps keep me motivated and , as my dad would say, pressing on.

What are you thankful for today?
Shout it out!

  3. Good morning, small town girl...xoxo
Even if we are in a bad time right now, I still find more than my share of blessing our Father sends me ea and every day. I know what you mean about the "unsung heros" in our lives...and you, with your kind comments and your prayers for Mr. Sweet, are one of mine. Thank you, sweet girl.

  5. Miss Lily barfed, didn't eat for two days while pretty lethargic. This morning she "wolfed down" her food and chased a rabbit during this morning walk. Things are looking up and it's Thankful Thursday...:)

  12. What a nice friend! I am fortunate to also have some like that. I am tankful for nice summer like weather. I am not a fan of hot and humid--thankfully Colorado does not have too many of those-- but I do like longer day light and mild and comfortable days to enjoy the outdoors.

  22. True friends are like that...always there, even in the "background"! Sounds like you've got a good one! I just realized that this is a weekly blog "thingamajigger"...sorry, my mind's drawing a blank on the right word. I've been lax in my blogging lately, but this would be a great way to get going again! :)

  23. It is good to receive a physical mail from a friend rather than the Electronic versions which seems a little more impersonal nowadays.
