Lollygag - a graceful, unhurried method of spending your time when you have no where to go, with absolutely no productivity whatsoever
I admit to a bit, maybe a lot, of lollygagging yesterday. Tomorrow starts a week of busyness for me that cannot be avoided. Appointments to keep, a classroom to organize, people to see and places to go.
My lollygagging should not be confused with dillydallying. To dillydally is to waste someone's time. A prime example of this is when your children dillydally and you can't get out of the house on time. An unpleasant experience, if you ask me.
Here's hoping you have some time to lollygag today. We all need it, every now and again.
