Thankful Thursday
Thankful this Thursday for country roads, sunsets, and a good drive home. It gets inconvenient living out in the country, but with views like this on the drive home, I can put up with it. I just have to make sure we don't run out of milk :)
What are you thankful for this Thursday? Small things are just as important as the big things. Link up and let me know!

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
...killer sunset!
ReplyDeleteHello, pretty view, sky and sunset. We live a 15 minute drive from the food stores, you really do not want to forget to buy an item. Thank you for hosting. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteMy family, yeah.
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud at your milk comment. We are out. Have been for two days and I just haven't wanted to make the drive into town. My poor daughter thinks she may not survive!
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for a day away from the fair, I am peopled out. LOL Love that picture, a real charmer
ReplyDeleteToday I am thankful for people who express kindness and tolerance.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful that my grandson gets to go to school where his dad and aunts went to school... It's been a struggle over the summer.
ReplyDeleteYour pretty pic makes me wonder if I've seen any sunsets this summer. I'm not sure I have and certainly haven't shot any. Are you getting ready for the solar eclipse? We haven't had any luck finding glasses.
ReplyDeleteToday I am thankful for some glimmers of Hope . . .
ReplyDeleteI needed a "Hope Burst" after this past week.
Plus one of my favorite seasons is just around the corner . . .
And I am thankful . . . and excited for some golds, orange, muted green . . .
Lovely views similar to those I am thankful for - as I've had to rush back into town for milk!!!
ReplyDeletethat sure is a pretty view!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely pic! I do like having the city around me though! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThere is one way not to run out of milk.. add a dairy goat to your farmette! I also am thankful to live in the Oregon countryside. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

ReplyDeleteI am thankful for good health, healthy and happy grandchildren that went back to school today, and travel around my new state! I hear you on milk. I keep some non refrigerated Parmalat in my pantry just in case ;)
ReplyDeleteAmazing blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download
ReplyDeleteit from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my
blog shine. Please let me know where you got your design. Thank

Don't forget the bread, too! LOL I would appreciate being where i could see a view like that without a bunch of powerlines in it. I don't mind one or two, not like it is looking west from my back yard.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful to be able to awake each day and know that I have another 24 hours to enjoy everything. We have lived in the country and now the city and I can appreciate the beauties of both.
ReplyDeleteSpectacular photograph. Just looking at that sunset is enough to make one thankful. But I am also very thankful that I am surrounded by friends and family devoid of prejudice and bigotry. And I am thankful that via the wonderful world of bloggers I am able to connect with people like you, Michelle. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and wonderful to live in such a gorgeous place! Even if you do have to go without milk every now and again! xx Karen
ReplyDeleteLike a Turner painting.
