Thankful Thursday
Thankful this Thursday for new beginnings, both large and small. In each day there are things that don't work out, yet we get pointed in new directions, and often don't realize it. It's only glancing back that we see how far we have come.
What are you thankful for this Thursday? Large or small things are equally important. Take a moment to be thankful....change your way of thinking....change your life.

...and I wonder where the track will lead me?
ReplyDeleteJust like life...always wondering where it will lead me. The more I plan the less it goes like I think it will.
DeleteI like new beginnings and new opportunities and I`m always thankful for them.
ReplyDeletePretty track shot! I'm thankful for so many things. Sometimes the sense of thankful is overwhelming. I've been listening to a podcast about the homeless population in California, and it really makes you thankful for the smallest of things - like a chance to take a shower every day.
ReplyDeleteLisa, that is a good point. We often overlook the small things and try to be thankful for the big stuff.
Deletegood morning! pretty shot! and yes, sometimes we can't see it till we look back!
ReplyDeleteGreat thoughts and perspective, one must remain grateful even of the little things in life. Warm greetings.
ReplyDeleteHello, love the view of train tracks. The view is pointed in a lovely direction. I agree I am thankful and grateful for all the small things and just happy to wake up each day. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, enjoy your day!
A fine photo ... I like train track photos for they are so mysterious - where do they go and what do they pass by on their way. You provided a nice sentiment, too. Gratitude is of great help to one's mental health!
ReplyDeleteLovely photo. I am thankful for so much...my healthy family; being closeby so we can see them; having a home of my own!
ReplyDeleteIt's always nice to stop and think in the light of day instead of everything pouring in when you're trying to get to sleep. Right now I'm thankful for weather that doesn't force me to wear shorts and tank tops finally. Geez that beautiful shot could be from my front yard.
ReplyDeleteI love shots like that! This is a good one!
ReplyDeleteThankful one of the fires burning in California and close to use, was contained, before we had to start packing! Still praying for containment of the ones N. and NE of San Francisco.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty shot- and it's true about looking back. Sometimes the present circumstances cloud our minds and we can't see what we should be thankful for. Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteI am always thankful that each day is a new beginning. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteLaura, you are right. Each day is a fresh start and should be treated as such.
DeleteFabulous photos...love the ones in your header and the new look of your blog! Thankful for Thursdays...since they are my Fridays. Four-day work weeks are great!
ReplyDeleteDebby, a four day work week sounds great to me!!
DeleteA simple, beautiful shot Michelle! I should have mentioned this in my post... but very thankful for the firefighters and others throughout the state of CA helping battle all the wildfires.

ReplyDeletei am thankful for somewhat good health and the ability to walk short distances!!!
ReplyDeleteThis week, I am thankful for good family and good blogger friends who have been voting in our downtown nashua scarecrow contest. Even if our entry doesn't get bragging rights, at least it wasn't from trying and lots of help! Thanks for your votes too, Michelle.
