Thankful Thursday
Thankful this Thursday for too much to do. There are many people in my own small community who are unable to care for their families, go to work, and keep up with life. Thankful for ability to do and the understanding that it all gets accomplished....one way or another.
The tragedy of life is often not in our failure, but rather in our complacency; not in our doing too much, but rather in our doing too little; not in our living above our ability, but rather in our living below our capacities.
Benjamin E. Mays
What a are you thankful for today? Big or little, both are equally important!

ReplyDeleteHello, I agree that anyone that is able bodied should be taking care of themselves. I have never been a person that would depend on another for help. You never know what can happen and you may need help. Pretty Autumn leaves. Thanks for hosting.
Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
I help make a family meal every Wed. at church. Anyone can come and join in for a simple meal.Small town life!
ReplyDeleteWe have a church group that does the same on Wed nights. Always great to help out others!
DeleteGratitude has a way of repaying us in multiple forms and at surprising times. We know evidentially that gratitude is the foundation for a well-structured and happy life. It appears to me you have discovered these things and may all of gratitude's blessings be poured upon you as you live out that gratitude day by day.
ReplyDeleteDid I ever tell you how much I love the photo in your header? Well, I am now! I also love the quote you shared and I'm afraid I am guilty of it more than I care to admit. What a great reminder. Happy Thursday, Michelle!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debby!! Have a great weekend!
DeleteGulp...
ReplyDeletePretty fall picture. It is much cooler here the past couple of days. Shocking after such a long summer, but I was ready for it!
ReplyDeleteLisa, it is getting cold here and I enjoy the weather, during this time of year. Snow flurries expected on Saturday morning. Strange for us!
DeleteThankful for a couple nice weather days...and the ability to take care of my family and hopefully my friends as well.
ReplyDeleteI’m thankful for all the things you mention too and I love the quote. Today my post is about being grateful that I can go outside and play any time of the day, especially between rain showers. Thank you for hosting.
